defrost vents for winsheild

are there different ones for different models between years or cuda -challenger? I have a 71 cuda when in place it does not come close to the heater box connection am I missing something? when I look at pics like alanautos restoration I dont see that there is anything in between the two .

On NON-A/C cars there is about a 1"gap that is supposed to be there. :2cents:

Hi, don't want to hijack this thread but I thought I'd ask is there anyone that knows of a company that supplies parts for these AC heater boxes? :clueless:

What parts ? Just about all servicable parts are available. :2cents:

The part that I don't have is the transfer duct that goes to the driver side air vent, not the tube, the one that is mounted to the aft side of the heater box AC unit. There is one on ebay, but this guy wants $100 and shipping. I would fabricate my own if that's the price I'd have to pay today :-\
