This thing is in great shape EXCEPT, the speaker holes on each end have been cut out to about 4"x4" square. Previous owner apparently made these cutouts to avoid removing and remounting the outboard speakers and grilles. The cap is in nice shape and looks very good. Will include wire grilles that were made for the cutouts.

BTW - I was amazed at how well the cap fit and how good it looked. I intend to buy another only I will cut the holes smaller and will surface mount the speakers to the dash cap as original. This is the only reason I am selling this cap.

what car will that fit in, cuda or chally and what years? or are they essentialy the same?

They are the same except for the name plate.� Dash fits either one!� �

And remember they made air conditioning and non air dashes both.

this cap was carefully removed from my 72 Cuda dash. I liked the fit and plan to buy another but will do a better job on the speaker installation than the previous owner. I was going thru the cars records the other night and found a bill from Best Buy for front dash speaker installation. I guess Best Buy may be to blame on this one :gripe:
