1970 challenger R/T SE 440 #'s matching

Ok this is my first add here and i don't know squat about Chryslers so please be patient.

I have a numbers matching 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T SE 440 Mag.
The car is original "non restored" with a repaint. Auto AC Power window.
The motor and trans are out of the car.
Burnt orange w/ red interior.
The car is straight and solid w/ some rust inn the trunk.
Located inn sunny Arizona.

I don't even know how to price the car but from what i can dig up maybe mid 30's?

custom side stripe
grill is polished
SE tail panel is missing

The motor and trans are out of the car.

I was thinking he had the motor and trans but that they weren't in the car, anyway even if that's the case, I think the price is still 8-10k high

If you actually are serious in selling it, I'd at least put the motor/trans back in it for easy transport.

Need a LOT more pics, but if the interior needs resto, and body is in excellent shape minus the trunk pan, I think you can sell it for maybe $19-20k tops.

Yeah i have the motor and trans, (# matching) i also have all the trim parts missing inn the photos. I don't feel this car needs restored. its not a basket case thats been sitting in some back yard for 30 years. its a nice clean car. The motor needs rebuilt. The interior is nice and complete and there are no rips in the seats. the top is the worst part of the car and could be redone. Personaly i think this is a car that someone can rebuild the motor, apply some elbow grease and enjoy.

Last guy I saw trying to sell an Ebody U-code tried 25k and didn't get it for over 2 years.

There's plenty restored versions on EBay right now that are not bid that high....It's pretty hard to sell a project for "big dollars" unless it's a Hemi or six pack

Not sure on value. But.......

For very little money you can clean it, buff it and get the right stripe on it. Put the molding back on and put the engine trans back in. Two days work can help you sell it. If not, it's a tougher sell.

Im acutely working on that. I just thought i would post it and test the water a bit. Been offered 25 already as it sits, i may just take it.

I say get motor freshened! Spend a little money there and  elbow greace and youl get what you want? So you might put 2 or 3 grand in it  if you do everything your self? But the rewards can be greater?

I guess your right, these Mopars are junk heeps with little to no value. Anyone want to trade this turd for a chevy?
