    Sold the Cuda today ***UPDATE***

    Wasn't even trying to......

    A buddy of mine has been interested in it for a while now and since he sold his GTX he had the funds.

    He was originally looking at the Challenger but since it needs a bit more than the cuda he offered me fair market value for it.....

    Kinda tough to let it go as it is the best driver that I have, but since it's going to a friend and into a heated garage, I'm happy

    Congrats on giving it a good home , now you should have some funds to improve the others so you can drive them .
     Always sad to see them go but I have also sold most of the ones I have owned over the years .

    Exactly, I'm gonna finally give the Challenger some long overdue attention and pad the bank account for winter work slowdowns

    So were the "WIW's" accurate ?
    The only way for people to continue trying to nail down WIW's is to know "actual" sale prices of cars. :2cents:

    Well, After some serious deflection of  lowball offers from him, I stated simply that I wasn't going to take less than 12K for it.  We both agree that we each got a great deal. Considering that I paid 2250$ for it in 2000 there was no way to go wrong on this deal!

    No problem..... Just went over all of the known issues with the new owner and watched it drive away.....

    And yes, both parties are very happy! Him a bit more because obviously, he now has a real Cuda!

    In my opinion and the buyers, the vin issue is/ was not an issue and has already transferred the title. If it ever becomes one, he knows how to handle it.

    Got and email this morning telling me that the car runs and drives way better than he thought it would,  I told him, that it's a running, driving, four speed Cuda that he can drive while he restores.....

    Better stop now......already missing the PG 4 :(

    The new owner of the Cuda called me today telling me how much he loves the car and thanked me again for selling him such an awesome good driving great priced machine, pretty cool.

    He also offered to let me drive his vette whenever I get over there and of course the Cuda as well. Being as how he is only five minutes away, I'll take him up on it soon......
