why do all harness,including repro ,,,have 5 wire ,,,some ECM have 4 pins some have 5,,,also chepo plateing on some and gold on others????THANKS

4 pin ECU will work with the 5 wire plug , 5 pin ECU will not work with only 4 wire plug Having 5 wires insures all ECUs will work

These cars came with 5 pin boxes from the factory. That's why all the harnesses have 5 wires.
