We had a local FinishMaster shop mix up some Dupont FC7 (C7 in their book) and twice it came out less intense, more silvery grey than the original. We used it for the engine compartment, trunk, etc. When the painter did the exterior of the car, he used Sherwin-Williams Plum Crazy and it was a dead-on match with the original paint on the inside of the doors. I regret having used the Dupont paint because the difference is rather obvious. Based on that experience, I would not choose Dupont for FC7.
