anlauto left us with a tease there. Talked to him and here is the sanitized skinny. A collector purchased the Black 70 Challenger 383/4spd car (supposed to be FC7) a while back. He also purchased the FE5 70 Challenger 383/auto that was on eBay in April. Come to find out - both cars came down the line on the same day. So the collector is having Alan Gallant Automotive Restorations do both cars. Alan has gotten permission to post progress pictures on his Restoration website of both cars. So look for these two cool sunroof cars to show up on his site sometime in the future. http://www.alangallantautomotiverestoration.com/

And here I thought that the tease was that the Orange 71 340 shaker car is a well known re body, and that the green '71 project on the trailer (with little info) was a made up car with the sunroof grafted on.  And wore a V-code tag at one point...

Oooooh, that is juicy stuff right there YYZ. I have heard the rumors about the 71 340 car - and have noted that on my in-house paperwork, but had not heard anything on the 2000 Moparfest car until now. Since I have such little info on it, and given this tid bit - it will remain at the bottom of the page for now. Thanks YYZ!

Bump - latest update is out for the 1970 sunroof Challengers - just go back to the top of Page 1 of this thread and hit the link, or hit this link:

http://www.blackhillsmopars.org/files/pdf/Sunroof1970DodgeChallengers.pdf

Four more cars have been added. An FC7 Challenger (originally FF4) currently for sale in New Hampshire, A true FC7 Challenger that was on eBay in 2013, A big project Challenger R/T EB7 440 car posted on FaceBook, and another huge project that was posted on cuda-challenger a while back.

Enjoy!
Scott.

Alan,
I have collected a few documents that I have run across on the web here and there. I plan to have a documents section in the Early Mopar Sunroof Website that I will set up this winter. Are you looking for some reference materials for 1970 Challengers? I think Barry's Hamtramck Historical site has some Technical Service Bulletins for the Power Sunroofs. That's where I have come across most of my sunroof stuff - very good stuff.
Scott.

I Just saw that you have a 70 Challenger at the Place D'Orleans car show in Ottawa, I grew up in Orleans and used to attend this show religiously every Wednesday night.

Love your records and certainly interesting.
