Trunk Wire brackets 70 Cuda
« on: September 12, 2014 - 10:31:21 PM »
I'm looking for information on the brackets that are used to hold the wire harness in the trunk. I have a picture of the one that are in Rudy's car. I was wondering if some one could get me dimensions and where the should be attached. Mine are missing and I need some help.

Alas if you are like me and replace the rear quarters these magically do not come with them from AMD.

You could do some welding but that should have happened before paint which makes this a no go at this time for me.

I can measure mine and take some pictures for you tomorrow.  (Sunday)

Do you just need driver side or do you need tail panel as well?

Alan  when I got the car all the wiring was in a box and I didn't know how the wiring was routed in the trunk the brackets were gone I just assumed they ran under the trunk mat like my convertible. This is the first E body.

Thanks Ron I just need the drivers side.

Okay I will grab the measurements tomorrow.  Got hung up today fixing a water leak in 106* temps.... :faint: a ten minute job turned into an all day marathon.  :stomp:  :swear:  :banghead:
