Been watching that one for a few weeks now. Sort of surprised its still for sale. Looks like a really good car from what I can see besides the stripes being upside down.

I think this car would be worth the trip to go look at. Stripe being upside down is a little bit of an alarm as to what other things are "thrown together". From pics it looks like it could be a good one, and the $$ is in the ballpark for a entry level e-body vert.

If your in the market go look at it. Check for frame damage and alignment issues. :smokin: :dogpile:

I went to look at a 30k challenger convertible not long ago.  It was NOT this car. The pictures were beautiful.  I went there fully expecting to bring it home.  BUT ... Rust in the quarters, rust in lots of places including some in the cowl. Thick filler under some very pretty paint.  Underside of the car (and i mean everything) sprayed with thick undercoat. They even sprayed the outside of the pinch welds with undercoat. I just tell you this to encourage a good inspection by someone you trust.  Needless to say, we came home without the car.

yeah that is my big fear. I have asked for photos of the underside and rust prone areas and am waiting to hear back. I may have to try to find somebody to look at it if they look ok do you have any ideas of how to find somebody to do this ? I live in ark so it would be difficult for me to see it in person :working:

Anybody out there that can take a look at it?

People around here are good at helping check out cars in their area for other members.  We will see.

I got the 1970 Challenger I'm working on now in Melbourne, AR.  Had a good friend check it out for me.

dang Melbourne is not far from me

the guy with the challenger has not replied to my questions about rust and extra photos underneath so am thinking it may be on purpose he isn't responding, so far I have waited 4 days for a response and nothing yet :stomp:
