Custom Upholstery for 1973 Challenger
« on: October 04, 2014 - 10:15:42 PM »
Hi everyone,

I thought I share my seats that I had redone for my challenger. I was going to go the route of buying new covers and such, but it seems it came out cheaper just to get them done this way. I wanted them done close to the original styling, but didn't mind them having a custom touch them... like the deeper middle section on the bucket seats. The color looks slightly different in the pictures than in person. but here they are:

Nice! Did you do this yourself, any pictures of work in progress? I have been thinking about custom seats, with more side support, but I want the stock look, or close to stock at least, don't like any of the aftermarket seats available. You solution is very nice.

No, I took them to a upholstery shop. I told them what I wanted and supplied some example pictures.

Thanks! No, I have not. They are still in pretty good condition. I may just spray them with some interior paint. What did you have in mind?
