Poor Man's Negative battery cable
« on: April 28, 2005 - 09:01:29 PM »
Not for the purist.  But I couldn’t bring myself to spend $30 plus shipping for a negative battery cable.  I also didn’t want to wait.  The replacement parts sold at the local auto parts stores have an ugly splice to add the small lead needed to ground to the chassis.

So for $8, I put a single short negative cable to the body and then added a 2nd cable from body to engine.

Pictures don’t do it justice, but it looks pretty clean.
