Is anyone running the center dash speaker in their car? What are you running? I found these http://www.classiccarstereos.com/category/4x10-dash-speakers.html but wasnt sure if these would fit or not.

There is a guy that sells a dual speaker bracket.  He might be on here once in awhile.  I know he is on FABO and Moparts.  I bought one of his brackets for my Dart.  IIRC, it was only $26 shipped.  Then you can install any 3.5" or 4" speaker(2) you want.  Anything would be an improvement from a factory speaker.

Thanks. My factory one hasnt worked in years and I had 2 6" rounds under the dash but my boxes broke and one was stolen by the body shop that recently did my work so I am looking for something that fits where the original does so that it doesnt look like anything special but I have sound up front.

Here is mine.  I painted the bracket so it couldn't be seen through the dash and installed two 4" speakers on the bottom side.  It's an option you can think about.  If you go this way, it lets you pick the speakers you want and you know it will fit.

No idea.  I'm still building the car. They were inexpensive speakers so I don't expect a lot.  It has to be better then a re-coned factory piece.(cheaper too)

I got the dual coil speaker from YearOne, it takes a stereo feed, but its one speaker, I doubt the purpose of 2 speakers in that spot, the stereo effect would be gone anyways
and its better with as much basecone area as possible to move air. I have not tried it out though, so it still might suck :)

I added a pair of Infinity 3002CFX 3.5" in place of the single stock front dash speaker (Run off Deck Power) front channels.
Fader works with the Kick panels and Dash speakers. Got mine at Car Toys. They really improve the sound imaging. Rated to 50W RMS

I ordered theese kickpanels with speakers, because I did not wanted to cut holes in my nice stock panels, but they look bad, does not match the rest of the interior, and the speakers
looks cheap, have not tried them though.

Yup, I have a pair of those in a box in my garage somewhere I'll sell cheap.  :banghead:
Get a pair of used kick panels to cut. You can use Kick Panels from 71-74 B bodies too.
I fit these 5" Focal IC 130 speakers in my kick panels. http://www.focal.com/en/car-audio/268-ic-130-3544057750107.html I got them off ebay from a seller in Germany.

Here is my complete system.

A good idea. Should have done that before I dished out over 200 for the crappy stuff. Focals are great, I have 4 of them, (bought them for another car, that I sold before I got to install them), they are 5 x 7" though, would probably not fit in the kickpanel. Your system looks great, later I will figure out a good subsystem in the trunk also.
