Book on new Hemi's

I wanna learn all about the new Hemi's, can anyone recommend a good book?

I haven't seen a book, but it would be handy for some reference. I've noticed a lack of a local knowledge-base when trying to find out information. Perhaps I'll throw one together with my experience that others can add upon when I get through with my swap.

Mancini may have a Mopar publication on the 3Rd Gen similar to the other engine books Mopar has created

Not looking for anything specific, more in general, info and tips on function and tuning of all the newer modern parts in the late Hemi's, like the EFI, the ignition etc.
I read many books on the bigblocks Mopars in the 80's when I was working on those engines, and nowadays there is so much more to learn, more electronics, and I have not
worked on cars since the late 80's and not kept up with the progess of engines. That Hemi builders guide is from 2007, I'll probably get that for a start, I can't find anything else
out there. Mancini had a lot of good books, but nothing on the late Hemi's.

No problem, even published in '07 should cover most of what we mess with. VVT came out in '09 which is, currently, unpopular and difficult to work with in retrofit applications. I believe the VVT can be locked out, but the primary used years are 03-08. Though the newer Eagle heads may not be mentioned in that book, which are a good upgrade.

Good example right there, I had no clue was VVT was, Googled it and came up with "Variable valve timing", very interesting and I want to know exactly how it works. (even if that is a later invention, and not in that book).

Hate to tell you but I ordered one of those and returned it. It was entertaining reading, but gave you none of the pertinent information needed.

Says things like if you want X hp then add a supercharger! Kits are available....

Got it yesterday, looks like your'e right, didn't read it yet, but it's thin and has crappy pictures....
I'll read it though, and post a book review after....

Spent a week on the Canary Islands, just drinking beer and reading, so I got thru the Hemi book, (and about 30 Mopar magazines that I had on my iPad) it actually was not bad, but released in 2007 it had no info on the electronics, computer and sensors etc. Everytime something was mentioned about it, they just said that there was no info on this yet and soon they will crack the codes for the computer. It did have a lot of mechanical info on the 5.7 and 6.1. Since it was a cheap book, it was still worth it for me, I got some good info out of it. I'm sure some folks here has a lot more knowledge about the Hemis, as I read some of the threads here. Anyways, I am now convinced that the Gen III Hemis are great engines, and eventually one will find its way under my hood someday. Maybe by the time I'm ready the Hellcat Hemi is available, would be nice. Until then I'm hunting more info.

No, the heads are not true hemispherical, but close enough to bare the name though.
