Suspension nightmare

So, my spindles were on the wrong side, so we switched them over. Now, my brakes click when I press on the pedal. Is that because they are used to stopping on the other side? Will a pad change correct this?

Are they drilled or slotted? If so, they may need to wear in and I'd leave the old pads in until they do, so as to not trash the new set. The only thing that would change would be the rotation of the rotor, so it's likely to do with that. Just my

No, they're stock. What could be causing the clicking? Are the pads knocking in the caliper?

Who knows? Did you use bedding goop on the pads when you installed them? Is the "clicking" regular? Road speed? with the brakes only off or when they're on as well? Did you check the tires for embedded stones? Did you mix up the calipers as well? Does it click when you jack it up and spin the wheel? And so on....

ok, so my only time in the car was picking it up and taking it home. here is what i noticed. the pedal was spongy, so, air must be in the systems. under light brake pressure, the front end clicked, like the pads weren'r set in correctly and were rattling around. i only heard or felt the click at very low speeds. I didn't install the brakes, so i cannot tell how they were installed. i'm going to limp it to an alignment/brake shop. anyone have a recomendation of a shop in Denver CO?

You'll probably need to clarify if it's making a single click when you first apply the brakes or continuous clicking at some regular interval while the brakes are applied?  If at regular intervals, does it seem to happen once per revolution?  Is it irregular, relative to vehicle speed?  Can you tell if it is one side or the other?  Is it loud or somewhat quiet? 

Have you checked your lug nuts to be sure they are tight?

sorry, it's continuous clicking at a regular interval and it's not very loud at all. i can only hear it with the windows open at lower speeds. the wheel seem tight, but i have not checked them by hand yet.

Seems as though your pads are floating around in the caliper making this noise.

I'd take it back to the shop and have them fix it.

I had a buddy do it for me? This time, I'll take it to a real pro and get them to mount the tubular UCAs and dial in the alignment. Also, the steering wheel is off center. Do I need to pull the wheel? Or pull the steering column and realign?

No, it's a tie rod end adjustment. Normal alignment work.
