Any body running one of these?  Website says "stand alone" unit, does that mean no 6al box needed? Thanks guys

from, what I've seen on the web, no MSD box is needed for this distributor
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

MSd does have a stand alone dist with no box /ecu
However a friend ran it & it failed stranding him 400 miles from home , heck of a tow bill !!
Not sure if the one you are looking at is the same but if it is stand alone it should be the same unit .

what is the advantage of this, over my existing 10 year old MSD
distributor, and digital 6AL box?
