Where to find 1970 Challenger SE Belt molding clips.
« on: October 28, 2014 - 01:17:07 PM »
The only ones I could find were on Ebay for $180.00 + $60.00 shipping and import fees to Canada. This is just for the push in butterfly type clips and does not include the 4 screw type clips. Has anyone found an affordable source for these clips? These same clips but with the threaded shaft and nut instead of push on are readily available everywhere for about $1.00 each but I think they would be next to impossible to install on a Challenger door.  Has anyone tried?  Thanks!

If the glass is out the nut type is doable, not easy but not to bad... With the glass in you'd need a magician... No help on sourcing the clips sorry, I've reused them on a few cars in the past... To remove them without damage the glass comes out & you slip a length on 1/4" tubing over the bottom which collapses the retainer slightly...
