Vacation

Just back home from vacationing around Europe. The Netherlands was on the list so i contacted our man Bart for some hints of what to do and see. He gave me some good advice and we also got an invitation for coffee. We took that offer and spent some (too short) hours with Bart, his son and the cat chatting about cars and life in general (that cat is a personality...).

Luckily the screamin' yellow one was still there and needless to say, Bart have done an outstanding job on the car. Attention to details....
New owner must be more than happy. 

Thanks again, Bart. Its been said here before and i agree, the friendship and hospitality of members on CC is something special.
Good luck with your next project (be it cars or something else...).

Driving trough Sweden on the way back to Stockholm, i visited some of the major used US car dealers. Mopars were rare to see, mostly late fifties and some mid sixties C-bodies.
Spoke to the owner of Stockholms biggest dealer and when asking about Mopars, he chuckled and said with a smile: "take a queue number and line up".

According to him, late sixties and early seventies B-bodies are very popular in general but any E-body in particular spends max 1-2 days on the showroom floor before being sold. That regardless of price...
I dont see my cars as an investment in first hand but it felt good to hear that!
