« on: October 31, 2014 - 09:35:04 PM »
Hi Team, I'm looking for a set of 73 front and rear bumper brackets, I want to use the factory bumpers and pull them in to match a 72 style, I don't want to drill nee holes in bumper etc, just mod a set of brackets.

Too bad you're half way around the world...It would cost a fortune to ship brackets.

I have a pair or rear brackets from a 74 cuda.   Don't know it theyre the same as a 73.  You'd need to modify them to tuck the bumper in.

Thanks Doug, I believe they are different, I specifically am chasing the 73's so as the bolt paterns remain the same, I just have to cut, re bend a little and re weld and direct bolt in etc.

I have both front and rear bumpers/brackets complete from a 1973 Cuda. I would gladly sell you the six brackets (4 front 2 rear) that you need however I think it would cost a small fortune to mail them from Canada, even to TN.  Most likely more money then  I would need for the brackets :screwy:

Thanks Alan,

USPS have flat rate boxes I use often, you can fit as much as you can in the box provided it does not exceed 20Lb and its $81.00 to ship it to Aust, only problem is, I think those front brackets are too long to fit in the box, the rears no problems. Im not sure if Canada have similar.

Can someone confirm that I'm right in thinking the 74 cuda brackets are different to the 73 please?

Alan, could you possibly look into a shipping cost to Chattanooga TN please? My daughter is flying out on Dec 14 and can bring them with her. Also chasing a gas, temp and maybe an amp gauge, they don't have to work as I'm primarily after the gauge front to do a gauge conversion etc

Mine are still bolted to the bumpers. I really don't feel like taking them all apart, finding a box heavy duty enough, pack them up only to find out it's $80+ to ship them to TN.......It's just not worth it...there has to be some closer to you. :2cents:

Thanks Alan, no problems, I have some guys out in WA who will be able to help out, sadly they are a rare item out here and was happy to pay double that to have them sent to TN.
