Need pinion snubber help!
« on: November 06, 2014 - 05:31:46 AM »
Hey guys,

I've got a Mopar aluminum 8 3/4" carrier (P4876445) and the bolt holes for the pinion snubber are different to the standard housings. Apparently Mopar used to make a adjustable pinion snubber to suit these with part number P5007483 but I can not find anyone who still sells them.

Does anyone know where I can get a pinion snubber to suit?

Thanks!

Here is a pic of the carrier as well as pics of a P5007483 snubber I found via Google.

The pics show that the P5007483 snubber is similar to the regular 8 3/4" ones but the holes are closer together and the sides are different.

That looks to be for an 8 3/4.    you might have to modify it.

you may be happier with adding 1/2 leaves on the front of the springs & clamping them with a Square top U bolt this will allow full suspension travel but still increase traction
