Cigar lighter
« on: November 08, 2014 - 05:52:35 PM »
Hey, I'm wondering what does the cigar lighter look like on a 70 cuda or was it the same through all years?  :dunno: stumbled across one on eBay which states 70 71 only and looks diffrent from the one I have. If somebody has a picture that would be great. Thanks in advance!

I'm almost 100% sure this is the one that came with my car when I bought it in 1979.
It looks like the one Bullitt posted too. There's one from Canadian Tire in the car now.

That knob is incorrect for 70 or 71

Do you have a picture of the correct one?

Did some checking in my 1970/71 Parts Books.
That Part# (2947 219) in Bullitt's picture shows up as 70 - 71 Valiant Dart Cigar Lighter Package
It looks like just the KNOB is the same for all models. Could the wrong lighter been put in that box by mistake.

This is out of my 71 Challenger convertible.  Obviously it's in tough shape, but it's easy to see it isn't the same as the one in the pics above
