I went to the Good Guys show today, always a good time. As usual I saw the approximately 10 e-bodys cars (Cuda and Challengers) total out of about 1000 cars. I did see a very nice 71 440-6 4-speed Cuda, it was a very nice ride. I have included a couple of pictures so you can enjoy as well.
I have been to a number of Good Guy shows, Barrett Jackson Auctions, and Scottsdale Pavilion car shows (this show attracts about a couple of hundred cars every Saturday night) and I can't remember the last time I saw a 70 or 71 Cuda 340 hard top car at any of these events. The last car I do remember was a 70 340 4-speed vert car a few years ago. I do see AAR's (saw a couple today) as well as big block cars, Hemi's, 440's and an occasional 383 car but never 340 cars. Now I know that 340 are not as sought after as the big block cars but I still find it strange. I'm hoping next year I will be able to bring my 70 340 4-speed Cuda to the show. I' betting it will probably be the only one there.
What is you guys's experience with 340 Cuda's (70 or 71) do you ever see them at the local shows or is it just big block cars?
