Too bad they didn't correct the inner fender when it was replaced. It has a 71+ style.
I would correct horns so they don't fill up with water.

Well heck.... One is easy to fix I take it, the other?...... Well, it will remain as is.... Thanks Alan...

Looking at the passenger side inner apron....At the top right hand corner of the shock tower there is an indentation for a fuel tank vent line (remember the 71 you worked on). That indentation is not there on a 70 apron

I see exactly what you're talking about now... 

Did TA's and AAR's come with the "15" hemi front fenders? And, if so, how do you verify?

That is a myth I believe....one of those never ending or never answered questions...

Also appears as if the drivers inner has been replaced as well, later notch out where the battery hold down fastens too appears to be visible.  Not that bad to fix, little slicing and dicing.

  I didn't see that until I went back to look at the first photos.
This was very common issue because 90% of the "NOS" inner aprons that were available back in the day were 73-74 style. It was very rare to find the correct "NOS" 1970 ones.
It was an easy fix BEFORE paint...

At the point, the easy fix will be to let it ride and drive.... It was my understanding that driver side was hit....
Everything looks nice and clean albeit it the aprons are '71's.... so I'm going to detail and drive...

Ok, I can't help it........ I've been tinkering with this TA all day and it's been a blast......

Ok,
This car has one of those funky pumps, by the foot... I've never owned one of those before..... Does the feed line from the bottle route through the same black strap that secures the header hoses on the passenger apron? Also, I take it it is secure along the firewall with the harness tab? It goes through the white strap in the upper passenger corner by the cowl.

Also, the paint daubs on the power brake booster, are they orange or yellow? I have seen both... Is one for autos and another for manual transmissions?

Another question:
What do the screws look like that hold the muffler strap together? Looks to be some sort of machine screw. One half of the strap has a regular hole while the other one is a tabbed hole.

Went and got the safety and VIN inspection done today with hopes of getting the title transfer and classic plates assigned to the car tomorrow before AutoRama on Wed-Sunday.....

Got everything done today; title transfer, 1970 plates registered, etc... Ready to rock and roll to AutoRama tomorrow, literally, this original am/fm has had the upgrade done to it and it sounds great with those rear speakers......... Took Jacob out for a spin...
