1971 Challenger R/T Tribute 440 AUTO Very Clean Car 45+ PICS
« on: November 20, 2014 - 12:18:32 PM »
Up for sale is our 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T Tribute. This was an original 318 car and spent most of it's life in California. Somewhere along the way it was repainted Green Go. The R/T hood was added as well as the stripes, front and rear spoiler and flip top gas cap. The interior was also refinished and a rally dash was added. The engine is a 440 4 barrel and the transmission is 727 Automatic. The rear end is a Dana 60. Power brakes, discs in the front. Power steering. We had new tires put on the car when we bought it in 2012. The only imperfection in the paint, other than normal chips, is on the hood. I have taken pretty clear photos showing the scratches in the hood. We meant to get it repainted, but honestly no one notices it (other than us) and we never could stop driving the car long enough to have it repaired. This car is very clean, it has not been hacked up or cut apart. I would not be ashamed to drive this car to any car show. It sounds good, turns heads, and has been a joy to own. Only selling because we have too many other toys and it's time to "thin out the heard." I will be taking more/better pictures within the next few days and will add them here. A snow storm took us by surprise and I was not prepared. Car is located in Akron, Ohio. You may call me with any serious inquiries, Aaron 330-592-3644.

$27,500 FIRM.

Seems like a nice car at a fair price with the 440.  Best of luck with the sale!

Thanks guys. I think it is a reasonable number for a nice car. I would pay it!  :clapping:

I put the car on ebay this morning for more exposure. I had a few calls asking for additional pictures, and they are in the ad as well.

Hello,

I'm near you in Massillon Ohio

Very nice looking car but I'm a little biased.

Glad to see you put the correct year Gull Wing on it.

Our local weather might slow a local sale a little but if the right buyer comes along they will get a good deal.

My wifegod is a classic Mustang lover and if the right fastback or Mach 1 comes along......

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the support KillerBee! I have never seen your car. Do you go to any local cruise-ins? We get around to most of them.

The car sold this weekend on ebay. It had quite a bit of interest right away, and for good reason. It's a great car and we will miss it. Thanks again for all the support guys.  :2thumbs:

Congrats on the sale. :2thumbs:

The wife and I did a lot of riding this summer so we didn't get the cars out to a lot of car shows.

I took it to the WINKS area cruise in a few times.

What cruise ins do you go to?
