Brad, are yours still being manufactured? Looks like the top of your louvers cover the window trim while the dales do not? I don't like the sound of that...

Roadman, how did yours turn out? This is very unsettling to me given the price and that I was just about to pull the trigger, has me second guessing them

Cars in the paint shop, were going to work on it together . I will be posting pictures on it.

Original roof mounting used rivet nuts in roof. The aftermarket kits don't have these.

I did another search and found a few reports of LPI selling out the tooling  to Heide Performance Products ? Which seems to be the company that makes "superbirds" out of late model Challengers.  :puke:    Searched under that and found this....

Is it normal for the louvers to cover the top window trim? Reports that dales don't cover the top trim on a challenger is throwing me off

I'd say both Challenger and Cuda it covers the trim.

If it was me:

I wouldn't put a rear window louver on my car unless I had the correct wrinkled trim to go along with it.
Having the code on your tag that it had it would be an exception. Then go and find it later.

I just don't like doing things half way correct.

But you don't see the trim with the louvers installed anyhow?  :dunno:

Why hasn't it been reproduced?
Other trim is being done!

It could be sold as a whole kit.

The trim is very rare and the volume wouldn't justify making the textured trim. I found a set of trim for mine, but I finally had to bite the bullet and pay $$$$$.

Textured window trim is Cuda only, Challenger trim was  regular polished stainless.....

Brad's louvers fit allot like my buddies T/A which is coded for & still wears it's original louvers...
