What year(s) or model(s) used the 8000rpm tach and what ones used the 7000rpm tach?

70-71' 8 grand tachs

72-74' 7 grand tachs

Rallye guage only.

You'll find 8 grand tachs in early 1972 cars as well. :2cents:

You will also find 7G tachs...... "reformulated".... be careful.

I would only buy a new replacement. I don't see a lot of point in replacing my used parts with used parts, especially for something like this.

Yes its amazing what a decal can do. Glad mine is correct, but I've seen some that weren't. That being said I had my original cleaned an recalibrated, works great!  :burnout:
