Found the VIN JH23H3B417860. Rallye package, column shift, center console delete.

Great story and as noted, if you are passionate about the car, this would be a great one to recreate with a clone car.  Interesting though the Window Sticker indicates it had a 3 Speed Manual Floor shifted TorqueFlite Auto!

That's not how it works.....The  3 Speed Manual Floor shift is standard equipment with the JH23 package witch is outlined first, then the extra cost option was the automatic transmission. The console was not deleted, it was just never ordered. :2cents:
