My A66. V-8 car.

Sheldon

Hey Sheldon,

That is one mean machine. I hope my car ends up half as good looking as yours.

I will do the same badging. R/T on the front and rear and 340 Four barrel on hood scoops, while keeping the V8.

Thanks for stopping by!

Man: This car sure looks to have a nice body on it. Desert car (paint looks too good for a desert car)?

If the old owner didn't go crazy with a bottle of black spray paint,  I might have kept the original paint job.

I know the car is a JH and so are all the other A66 cars but there have been some that have R/T emblems fitted and may have been there from new ToxicWolf's car is one and T8tr23 has a barn find A66 with R/T emblems and I seen another I can't recall who's car it will be interesting if some more A66's turn up with R/T emblems. Viscous fan is a clutch fan it's coupling (clutch) is controlled by viscous fluid.

When I got my 70 A66 340 .. it had R/T emblems on trunk lip and front grille.  Guy told me car came from factory like that.  I'm old enough to know people, and not always intentionally, get **** wrong.

But then he gave me this article below.

Nice ride salyaqout .... are you up in Northern VA?

I live in DC,  the car is being built in Nova,  at IAP racing,  then it will head to sterling hotrods for interior and A/C.  Paint will be done in kuwait,  as it costs around 2k for a full strip down paint job.  And tanks to you,  I just placed an order for R/T emblems.

Good deal.   At end of it, can you just post up here on this thread what you thought of these shops?  Just so all us here in NoVa can have idea of whose good?  Thanks mate!

There were a couple of articles about the EQ (Engine Quest) heads being better than any other iron head and economical, too. Google 'em and/or look on Ebay. apparently they re-designed the magnum head to eliminate the cracking problem and they're available in either the magnum or regular LA bolt patterns. Good luck
