Man, that's a whole lot of work! I'm impressed with the way that old VistaCruiser roof fits the Challenger and I'd love to see how he worked the hatch on it.  ???

Unfortunately, Marty, the owner of these cool cars, passed away a few years ago.  He was one heck of an innovator.

No wonder I didn't see him post any more.  :(  He was a real nice guy, had some AWESOME cars.  If I'm not mistaken he made a sublime Superbird, I think it was either convertible or had a sunroof.  I think he made the nose cone himself from scratch.   I think he grafted on hood scoops from a Coronet R/T.  Looked great.  He had lots of pics of the build.  Painted it himself in his garage if I'm not mistaken.  Paint looked really nice.

If it is the same guy, I think he had Richard Petty autograph the tail panel of the car?  :clueless:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the car and a link to part of his build.  It was a sunroof he installed, not a convertible.

Sorry, not trying to hi jack this thread, just adding info about the person who may have made the car in the first post.

Looks like he sold or was trying to sell all three cars:  Challenger Wagon, Sunroof Superbird and 4x4 General Lee.  I remember he had a big yard almost like a salvage yard with lots of cars at his disposal.
