Restored my 4 Speed Pedals!
« on: December 08, 2014 - 09:07:26 PM »
Blasted, cleaned, new bearings/bushings,
And re-painted.  What do you guys think?  I might strip them all down for clear zinc plating though.

That's really nice work.
You even have a clutch safety switch. Those are getting hard to get.

Thanks Guy's,  they took me a bit of time,  but the cost of Zinc is not too bad.  $125 minimum lot fee and a $1 a part.

Tommyg29,  yes this is how they should look, but clear zinc instead of paint.  Brewers performance had all new bearings and bushings.  If your missing anything from your original pedals they probably have it.

Actually from the factory they were never plated or painted. They were left bare steel, and usually rusted.

Yours look great :2thumbs:

You should be proud.  Nice work!   :woo:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Oh...I order it by the case directly from Seymour.

Wurth makes a similar product. They're in Canada

I'm sure Car Quest or NaPa might be able to get it.
