Sunroof registry for e-bobies any 1.
« on: May 02, 2005 - 09:23:28 PM »
I would like to start an e-body sunrrof registry,,I know theres more than a few E-Heads out here with that big A$$ hole in the roof,  would any 1 else be interested  in a registry like this ???
Maybe we could make it a section in our forums section ??
Since the sunroofs are 1 of if not the rarest option on an e-body ,this might be a great idea.
I,II even Mod for this section ?

Any thoughts on this ,, ypur imput is important.        take care         426

Not a bad idea, I'll have to get the info from the one sittin in my barn....but i think this topic needs to be left in the cuda/challenger section for a bit...this is the first time i ever looked in this section, and only because it was linked here. Just a suggestion to the mods.

I know of a few 1970 models, they are pretty scarce. Three T/As with sunroofs known so far, and some other models as well.

T/Ake care,
Barry

OK, here is this Challenger Sunroof car's fender tag.

JS23N0B367936

E63  D32
EW1  H5B5  000 608
EW1 A01 A05 A62 B51 C16
C55 C62 G31 G33 H51 J54
M21 M91 N41 N42 N85
N88 N95 P31 R35 V5B CTD

second tag

Y05 26 EN1

Like i've said, seems like all of these sunroof cars have loads of options...i've seen at least 4 or 5 at the Nats, and they are all loaded up cars. Notice the painted top, no vinyl roof call out.The sunroof option does not appear on the tag, at least not in 1970...not sure about other years. I have the broadcast sheet around here somewhere...LOL. This will be a nice car, white with blue interior, and the luggage rack is different. I saw a pic of this car from about 1980 with a dark blue vinyl top..dont know if that was factory or not. The roof trim was cheap glue on crap..no welded pins for the trim like on the factory tops.

72sunroof-hemi71 '  These are some seriously optioned sunroof cars .
&2 - I've never seen a 71 in that color before , I'II go out on a limb here to say that its safe to assume its 1 of less than 3 built with these options and colors.

71hemi - some serious 70 you have there . what a car.

I hope theres more cars out here with the sunroof option.
