« on: December 15, 2014 - 01:26:34 PM »
I am woring on a 1970 grille and head light bezels for a challenger and was wondering what kind of metal there are they feel like tin to me (I have no clue). I have a small crack in the grill and was wondering if it is weldable.

and what is the best way to clean the paint of with out wrecking the metal.

thanks Dave

The headlight bezels and grill are all clear anodized aluminum. RTs have semigloss black paint and standards have argent accents. Lots of opinions on exactly what the eggcrate part of the grill is coated with.
