Kudos for some outstanding engineering!  Love the consistent look of the speedo w/the rest of the gauges.  So many folks just surface mount the smaller gauges and not surface mount the speedo.

Let's see some more pics!  You should think about offering these w/some instructions to the public.

Here is my photo shopped photo effort of what it will look like in the dash.

The next step will be to modify the original metal support bracket.

I am trying to achieve a modern day oem design approach to a '70's dash/gauge layout and I am really pleased at the look of the finished product thus far.

If there is enough interest I may look into producing these. Let me finish this one first so I know what all it involved.

With this setup, no need to spend $1500-2000 on a Rallye set (unless your car is coded for such)!

Yes, the thin silver paint on the edges really make 'em pop too!  What brand gauges are those?  Seems to be perfect.

ragtochally, The gauges are from SpeedHut. I chose their standard "Muscle" font. They will make whatever font you want and in hindsight I wish I had used the oem Cuda font.
I am still very excited about the results. The pictures were taken with my cell phone and does not do the finished product justice.
 
I am in the middle of building a new house and shop so it will be sometimes this summer before I install the panel and gauges.

How would that work w/the Rallye gauges?  Are OEM 3 3/8"?  I would think you'd want to keep the bezel and mount gauges on the backside of the clear lens?

I`m pretty sure a member here did a rallye cluster with Speedhut gauges a while ago.  Can`t remember who though...

I remember that too.  But not who.  The rallye gauges would be different, probably 3 inches, but it would be nice to get them to fit easier.

Doing a Rally gauge would not be different than
What I did with mine. I would use SpeedHuts
Larger multi- gauge setup and design the sleeves
To work with the dimensions you have.

I think its a lot different, been looking at this a long time, if you wanna keep them behind the plastic lens they wont fit witout major mods to the frame, or making a custom frame. I got a Rally dash I bought for 1250 complete with harness. and I really dont wanna cut up the frame too much. My approach would be to print new sleeves that matches the shape of the rally gauge face plate with a hole for the speedhut with 3D printing and use only the electronics and front from the Speedhut gauges, but its a lot of work and I'm not sure exactly what needs to be done until I have the gauges. Alternative is to send my dash to Redline, they will do the same with complete stock look for 1200. GPS speedo, new tach, voltmeter, new clock. Won't get the cool Speedhut lightning though.

That is a factory gauge set up....just a carbon fiber sticker in place of the woodgrain.
