Went and checked the Barracuda out, tried to post some pics but it said that my file was too big, even when I tried to post just one pic. Anyway, remember, it's a 1973 Plymouth Barracuda that has been trimmed out to be a "Cuda". The original engine was a 318, now has a 1969 340 in it, with a Holley 750 double pumper and an Edelbrock performance manifold.
The Bad, quite a bit of bubbling in the vinyl top, leakage on the top end of the engine, looks like it needs new valve cover gaskets and intake manifold gaskets, quite a bit of moister up there. Rust in the trunk, although looks mostly like surface rust, will need new paint and tires, carpet covering the rear package tray.
The Good, body is straight, gaps are good, quarter panels and floor pans all look good, interior looks good, except for the carpet covering the package tray. Did a cold start with the engine, started right up, no smoke, ran strong, again the problem was the leakage mentioned above. Oil and tranny fluid looked good as did the power steering fluid.
The guy wants $19, 999 for it, what do you think after the description given. What would you offer for this Barracuda. Sorry about the pics, will try again tomorrow. If anyone ha a suggestion on how to post them let me know. Thanks for all of your input.
