Monster Mopar Flyer
« on: December 21, 2014 - 08:50:28 AM »
I was out checking out the Monster Mopar site and was pleasantly surprised to see the car being used on the flyer.   I first thought the car really resembled my car and then I saw the license plate and realized it was my car.   How cool is that!!!

If you're not affiliated with the show I'm surprised they used your car in such a prominent way without at least blocking out the license plate or asking permission... :screwy:

Cool poster though...

I'm in no way affiliated with the show.  I'm cool with it though.  I was quite surprised and honored to see it. I've never understood the blocking of the license plate thing.  I could care less if someone knows my plate numbers.

I don't get the license plate covering thing either but I was thinking from their perspective....There is a chance that you could cause them grief IF you wanted to because it's your car and they're using it without your permission...If they covered the plate then you couldn't prove it was yours. :2cents:

I think that blocking the licence plate is to prevent somebody from tracing the car to an address with the intention of stealing it. I know it's hard to do these days but sometimes you can't be too careful.

Any idea how they got a picture of your car   :dunno:  Seems odd in todays world they would use it without some sort of permission.
