How tall is the front end of a cuda?? Making shelving in my garage~!!

Hi-
  I'm about to be in the market to buy a 71 barracuda.   I need to know how tall the front end is so that I can pull it in my garage and not hit the nose.  I'm going to be finishing this job on Saturday -  then waiting for my tax return to start shopping

I have 35 inches tall.   But every car might be a few different.   I have no engine installed right now and I have a 2 inches showing between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender.

I'd have to imagine that it would sit less proud assuming that it had a motor.   I'll use 36" and go from there assuming you have standard size tires etc.

And how high the torsion bars are adjusted.

Well with no motor there, i adjusted just to get clearance,   with the motor I'll crank them up but at the end it should be around the same ride height.   

I'd go with 40" tall shelf's to be safe.

My '70 Cuda sits right about 32" at the front grill with 245/60/15's , but again tires/torsion bars etc need to be factored in.

This is why I can't have nice things hahah.   I'm actually going to make the shelf as an extension of a workbench top that wraps around from the wall on the side of the 3rd car garage spot.   

It's like i'm having a baby... that will never disappoint me
