I voted yes and I think it makes the 71 Cuda cars what they are. Can't wait to see pictures when it's done.

The Cuda has great lines and looks super clean without the tape. On the other hand no other stripe was as outrageous as the billboard so I like the statement it makes. If I had to own a 71 Cuda it would be without the tape but that's just me.

If you're not putting the correct mldng on, it needs the billboards. Nothing jumps on a Cuda like those covered flanks in a contrasting color.

For me if its going to be a high end restoration there is only one way to do it and that is by the fender tag.  :2thumbs: If he is going to start deviating from the tag he might as well make it a 4 speed while he is at it. IMHO

I am not saying it will be easy, but my experience with Mopars is as long as you don't mind overpaying or have something equally rare to trade, anything is available.

What about redheads?

As for the billboards, I voted no. On most cars they seem like too much to me. Prefer the hockey stick stripe. Cleaner look IMO.

Although I remember seeing a pic of a triple black 71 with billboards that was awesome! Kinda like ghost decals.

The car looks great either way but the combination of white billboards with the white interior works really well with that purple paint.

I'll be odd too and say leave them off; I never liked them much, seems like a lot of "sticker" to me.  I don't like billboards on the highway either

Just one of the many reasons I don't care for 71 Cuda's... 70's are badass, 71's are gaudy...  I know 71's are the darlings of the car collector crowd but IMO Chrysler nailed it in 70 & 71 they just tacked a bunch of crap on that doesn't really fit the car....
