Thanks guys, its going for a back to metal re spray in a couple of months, someone painted it a metalic black/grey and it has craz crackes and pin head blisters all over it, looks good from 15 feet. The rear filler panel had a lot of small bubbles of rust under the vinyl below the rear glass as they all do so I lifed the vinyl to see just how bad it was and all good! the little bits of rust was just surface, cratched off without any through holes so cleaned them up, hit them with rust converter and some primer sealer for now and glued the vinyl back down for now. that will save me at least $1000 in work effort to replace/repair so very happy man right now!! I did buy a replacement last time I was in the US so it can go to a good home somewhere in Au. here are a couple more

Oh, I have been DFRAZZ and enjoying every minute of it! there are still some things to work through, right now I have towels rolled up under the seats as I sit too low, I have a stage two steering box from the wonderful guys at FF, it has a small amount of free play that needs addressing, thinking of changing the steering wheel to a smaller leather wrapped like Brad70 and others have done, but, that aside, I love it. was worried the fast ratio arms and big wheel would make it sketchy on the interstate (ours are like your back roads, so not flat and smooth) but I gotta say, the faster I go the more it just hugs down and gets going.
