    Ignition box for genIII and la motor?

     I am currently running a small block but hope to covert to a genIII next winter. I need an ignition box such as a Msd 6al or similar. Is there an ignition box that will work with both ?

    The short answer is no. Gen III engines are distributorless and have 16 sparkplugs run by 8 double tower coils controlled  by the ECU.
