I'm restoring a 70 Dodge T/A and want to find out the spec's on the cam that was originally put in it at the factory.

Thanks for your help.  I've also got a message into Galen about this.  I have learned quite a bit about the T/A - AAR cars.  And I think it would be worth posting somewhere.  Maybe help somebody else out down the road. :)

Year One tech support is telling me that their part# FD1214 is the proper cam and has the correct specs for a 340 six pack, but the lifters included in this kit are not compatible with the OE six pack valve train.  Lifters would have to be obtained (not offered by Year One) or
valve train mods must be performed. The six pack lifter is shorter than standard lifters.

FD1214 is the standard 340 4v cam

I have dug deeper into the mystery but the factory parts books only list 1 cam for all 340s but there is no mention of the brief 6 pak production run or any special parts. ??? The factory book may have been printed before the T/A AAR s were planned though.
I have a friend with a couple & they definatly have more cam than the 340 4bbl but have the cams been changed in the last 32 years ??? He has a number of special bullitins that cover the T/A AAR but none list the cam.
Still looking into it , my friend is curious now too  8)

According to this guy the cams were the same as the 4bbl motors:
