600+ cu in big blocks, turboed or nitrous, 2000+ hp

Daddy Dave put 1200 to the wheels
Doc put 900+ to the wheels on the motor, 1400+ with 3kits of nitrous

Murder nova and big chief both make over 2500hp when they are at the track, but they have to dial waaaaaay back to get their cars to run in the street

Yup, pretty funny actually. Guess they aren't the fastest in the nation as they claim

I can see it both ways. One guy from LA went up there and showed them OKC doesn't have THE fastest "street car" OR you can look at the OKC "street racer" crowd and easily assume that OKC is the fastest cars per capita of street racers (else the show would be in that town filming those guys, right?).

I think their whole gig is the latter. There is some tricky wording in the mantra of the show that leaves it open to interpretation: "Fastest Street Car(s) in America" or something to that effect.

It did seem at the end of the show like they were kinda tripping over the fact that they're not the fastest anymore and trying to figure out how to get back on top.

That's what I found funny. No doubt in my mind how fast they are. It kind of reminded me of Christopher Columbus, what do you mean there is this new land?? Is there more??
