Does anyone here have installed pics of the Magnum tubular SFC?

:iagree:  otherwise the whole car is a big torsion bar
:smilielol:
I seem to remember someone on this forum calling them a 'flexy flyer'.
Could you guys notice a big difference?  And what was it (body roll, torque twist, other)?
I also noticed an improvement when I added the US cartool cowl braces last winter.

Mitch,
I was at a local body shop and the owner is restoring his own '69 Super Bee.  He installed the Mag Force front end and sub-frame connectors.  I did not have my phone/camera with me but he ended up bolting them in and welded them in too.  They looked really sweet, and did not hang down like the Hotchkis connectors do.

Mitch, as weight conscious as you are with your car, I'd suggest speaking to a few manufacturers about the weight of their units to help in the decision making.

To All -- I'm very thankful for your replies.  Since this will be a one-time choice, I want to make the best choice... best rigidity, best ground clearance (favored same as current unibody frame rails, or not much lower), attachment methods (welding is allowed, but only at front and rear, along with another point in between... such as the Magnum Force does to the floor); floor boards cannot be cut or modified (perhaps some non-noticable dinging could be gotten away with); weight is also a concern, but maybe they're all about the same?...(I'm willing to add the weight since its a low C/G and centered withion the vehicle).

I'm planning to do this perhaps in 2015-16, so, I have time.  Going to the car shows is one good place to see what other E-bodies have for SFCs.

60K T/A -- T/Anks for the inquiry... at this time the car is still in a rebuilding stage... SFCs TBD later... maybe year 2017.... leaning towards dual tube Magnum Force, maybe their other singular tube design... I'd like to actually see some installs of the singular tube design.... I've seen the dual tube...good ground clearance!

I like how the new singular tube design has the cross-member wrap around, although I'm not in favor of the rear mount design which co-attaches to the leaf-spring mount.

I have a set, just waiting for a camshaft to come in and I'll be installing both items in my buddies Cuda. Probably be in two weeks I would hope. When I ordered them they told me they would build them within a day or two and ship them right away. They charged my credit card right away and then lollygagged on sending the connectors for about six weeks as I recall. Then they powdercoated them glass black rather than the matte black I requested. Anyway I hope they fit and work correctly, they sure are pricey enough when you don't get what they promise.
No use in my sending them back as I live across the border so we'll have to live with them.

I have SFC's on my other cars and they work great. This is the first mod I do then build from there. It's easy finding these for late model cars but a challenge for ours.

Mitch,
I have the ART's on my GC. They cleared the floor pan divits, buy just barely.  They do tighten up the cars feel considerably.  The drawback that I experience, was rerouting the emergency brake cable.  If I have been smart, I would have drilled a hole through the rail, and inserted a tube.  as it is, it catches on the divits.  I routed some plastic tubing for it to use as a buffer, and that seems to work for now.

Keep me posted, as I will probably follow your lead for my next build!
