Maryland Engine Builder Recomendations
« on: January 08, 2015 - 03:52:56 PM »
I am trying to put together the beginnings of my 440 for the Challenger and was wondering if anybody knew of a good machine shop and builder in the Maryland area. I want to make sure all the clearances and dimensions are correct for the engine. Rather than putting together a bunch of parts that might not work well together I want to be sure. I can assemble the engine and have in Hawaii and the west coast I don't know of anybody around here I could trust.

Where in MD are you?  I know of a guy in Edgewater that does excellent work and reasonable costs.  That is if your around the Annapolis area, there are also 2 shops in the Glen Burnie area that I know of but I don't have any experience with either .

let me dig through my pile of receipts and ill find the contact info for the Edgewater shop.   its a small one man operation but he does good work.  This shop is down Central Ave going towards the bay around Turkey point, if your somewhat familiar with the area.  Maybe 15 minutes from the bridge.
