Where to get the best Hockey Sticks
« on: January 09, 2015 - 02:54:51 PM »
Hey everyone.Havent had much time to post anything on here since joining.Marriage and baby have taken over this year.Hope you all enjoyed the holidays.I know ive read something on this before, but I cant find it.After selling my Duster and putting the money in my Cuda shes finally ready to come out of the body shop in 2014 Plum Crazy. My question to you guys is who makes the best hockey sticks for the side?Id like to buy a set in satin/matte black and have the hood and rear tail panel painted close to the same sheen. The car obviously isn't a resto, just a old Pro Street ex drag car from the 80's that ive grown up around and am trying to breathe new life into.Ive read that some places don't use 3M,other places have troublesome backing ect.So can anyone steer me in the right direction of a really nice set?Classic Industries,PCG.....im open to all.Thank you guys so much.

Hey...I resemble that remark  :stomp:.....
Of course PERFORMANCE CAR GRAPHICS makes the best stripes available.

1970 Cuda hockey sticks were originally gloss back, but David can cut them in any colour you like. He uses the best material and only cuts them after they're ordered so you're not getting a set that has been sitting on a shelf somewhere :2thumbs:
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

That's awesome guys!Thank you. There are just so many options and so little money for mistakes haha. They will be the ones I order from then.Just for your opinions, the Cuda will have a AAR type paint theme as far as the front hood valance, the AAR hood and fender tops going up to the quarter windows in black. The guys ready to shoot the black as soon as I get it,but being in good ole Cali the choices of products are limited.Looks like I'll have to use black with a satin clear.I saw anlauto's post said from the factory they were gloss black.Would gloss look funky with the satin black hood/tailpanel?Have the stripe made in matte?

Mine has the matte PCG AAR strobe stripe in white. I think it pops a little more off the B5 than the black stripe.

Hahaha!I know right?Im not going to lie,i am not sure how to post pics on here.At the moment I am on a computer at work, and unfortunately all my pics are on my Iphone.I have way to many to bore you guys with, but maybe if I can figure out how I will post some.Im proud of it,even though it isn't a high dollar rebuild.I have wanted this particular car since I was 12(im 42 now)because my 8th grade teacher owned and raced it in the late 80's.He came back from the track one night and parked it beside his house in 1992 and never got back in it,not once.I stopped by every month since 94 trying to get it,and 4 years ago he finally gave in.But the weather hadn't been kind to it and it literally went from being a car he entered shows with to one in need of tons of work.I disassembled it and stripped it to metal and dropped it off at a body shop 6 months ago.She looks awesome to me.Now comes all the fun part, putting it back together from a shell lol.Sorry for the novel, just wanted to share.
