Cylinder head clean up
« on: January 11, 2015 - 10:38:18 AM »
On my stealth heads you can easily see casting marks/ridges. Will cleaning these up with a dremel make a difference to air flow?

I'd say cleaning it up/blending  under the valve seats will be your biggest area of improvement. :2cents:

But, be very careful with ANY grinding device as it'll only take a touch on a valve seat to require re-grinding it. AND, buy carbide cutters designed for aluminum. They're different than ones for steel/iron.

I agree maybe use the sandpaper roll type ones (smoother and easier to control ) and watch the die grinder chuck doesn't damage the seats.
