Very nice car but you will take from a 25-30% hit being it's not a numbers matching motor and trans.

The missing build sheet is also somewhat depressing on prices but that is somewhat negotiable. It really depends on the buyer.

NADA shows this 440, 4 speed has an average to high price range from 26-50k, I know the drag pack will add a little bit as will the R/T status so
maybe 35-45k range? This is just my best guess here.

Sweet Charger!   :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

Non matching '70's that I've seen are selling for low $40's.

It will be hard to verify the 23,000 miles are original unless he has fine detailed paperwork. If it only has 23k miles why does it have a different engine and trans?   :clueless:

Did you check for the VIN stamps on the body (radiator support, firewall)? I would start in low $30's since no BS/tags, non #'s and an older re-paint and go from there.  Sweet looking Charger though.

I agree.  Hard to prove it's 23,000 miles.  Lots of little things incorrect make me believe it's 123K.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

not going to like the black goop slopped around the bottom of the car makes me feel uneasy. especially how it looks freshly painted over a dirty underbody.

I'd go low this car isn't as fantastic as it seems.

Depends on how it's priced...If it's $20K-$25K you're probably doing alright for what it is :2cents:

Supposedly, the car was used for drag racing in its early years, accounting for the low miles.  I can see no signs of this like tubs, frame connectors, etc... so it would have to have been raced relatively stock body-wise.  I guess I thought maybe the undercoating could have been factory or applied by Midas or someone.  The guy has pictures of the car when he stripped it down and it is clean.  It came from Georgia so no salt issues.  Not sure how else to assess the miles.

Look for wear on the keys. When I bought my car it was advertised as 50,000 miles but you could tell by the amount of wear on the finish of the keys that it had been around at least once. Wear on the pedal pads could be another indicator.

Picked up a tip watching GYC, lift a wiper blade, check play in wiper transmission.

I've had 100,000 mile northern cars that had a better looking steering column and undercarriage than this car. Be careful is all. That Dana 60 and framerail looks like it's 299,000 mile survivor.
