Pictures of 17's & 18's with stock suspension
« on: January 13, 2015 - 12:26:54 PM »
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone would share pictures of their ebody running 17's and 18's and stock suspension.
Also, wheel and tire specs would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mickm

My suspension isn't stock in the strict sense of the word, I have Hotchkis UCA's and a B-body rear with Dr. Diff's 1" offset kit. But I also happen to know that my current set up does fit on a totally stock car, I have a lot more room out back than I actually use.

Rims are Summit Legend's, 17x9" with a 5" backspace. Tires are 275/40/17's, same rims and tires on the front and back. Passenger fender took a little rolling on the fender lip to clear when going through dips/driveways when turning, but the driver's side didn't need anything. The inner fender braces are removed, but that's because of how low the car sits, wouldn't be needed with a more stock ride height.

I have Foose Legend wheels, 18" rear. 275/40/18. 17" front, 235/45/17. All stock suspension in this picture. I'm in the processs of upgrading the suspension and brakes now.

Edit: Forgot, I do have airshocks on it, so with no air in them the rear would sit a little bit lower, since the leafsprings are really worn out.

Sorry for the hijack but I don't recognize the spoilers on those two Challengers! Anyone know where they came from?

Ok the Challenger in the middle is Rolands he is on here some times, his is custom made in Rotterdam Netherlands, and he shipped the car over here for a V.P. trip we did.

The Challenger on the right is mine ,I used a modern challenger spoiler and did about 20 hours of work but I managed to get to fit pretty nicely and several thousand miles and i still have not curbed it..knock on wood

I ride on stock suspension with 18 x 9" tires.
Like it or not, I have 2" adapters that allow me to run these with positive offset. They are nearly a 1/2" from the  wheel lip- a more modern wheel to body appearance.
I rolled my front fender lips and had to trim the lower forward corner off of the left fender.
The rear- I didn't need to do any trim op, or rolled edge.
Hope this helps!
Dan
