Corbeau or Recaro seats. Anyone installed them in an E Body.

I'm looking at putting Corbeau seats in my 72 Cuda. Has anyone installed them? Was it a pain in the ass, which fit the best, etc?

I recommend adapting your factory glides since the already match the floor boards...    by using ~1/8" thick aluminum x 1"-2" wide plates and spotting the holes as needed, get some specific length attaching nuts/bolts/washers.... that's what i did.. took a while to figure... then realized how simple it was overall.

Corbeau FX1s in my Challenger.  I used their brackets.  Needed to get some hardware and fender washers but bolted right in.  I did the adapter on the original slides with my last seats, it put the seat too close to the steering wheel.  My Corbeaus are at the right height and not bad to get in and out of.

I have Corbeau Sport Seats. Buy their seat adapters and they'll bolt right in.

Mike's white Corbue seats, in his white Challenger, are beautiful!!!  I've seen his interior!  I'm pretty sure he has the GTS-II seats.  Although a little expensive, they are very comfortable, decent side-support and classy!  These seat don't have the common upper shoulder wings which, in my opinion, are in the way whenever you need to to turn yourself and lean back towards the rear seat for something.

Done! Thanks for the input everyone. Bought the seats an adaptor. Now once they come in to get sent off the get upholstered to match the rest of the interior. Can't wait for everything to come together. It's been a long year of restoring. Going custom on everything sure has taken a toll on the pocket book too

Which model Corbue seats did you choose?  Next, you may want to get a 4-5-6 point harness (maybe one for each seat?) if you don't already have it.

I'm curious to see what their seat bracket looks like.  The web site has some stock picture that doesn't look correct for an ebody.

Please take a pic when you get them.

Thank you
