I've done a couple of Hemis that way....You can keep the valve covers on....keep that in mind for next time :2cents: :2thumbs:
It's looking awesome

Both covers on? I ask as I'll be helping install a Hemi in a 71 Cuda here shortly ?

Got the car on all 4 wheels again. It's been forever since that's been the case! The torsion bars went in with no problem. I'm hoping to get it up on the lift  for the rest of the assembly.

I have to think of the best way to get it on the lift as a roller. It's pretty hard to roll with the engine and trans in.

I said it before and I'll say it again- it doesn't get much better than that! That red really pops and I imagine that Josh will have to change his gotchies once he sees it!  :poopoke:

Does your comment mean we can expect to see a red interior in your car Ian?  :poopoke:

You know Murray, if I hadn't already bought all the Legendary stuff in black, I might've gone for it after seeing this thing.

I've got a couple part cans of red spray paint in the shed. They might even be the same colour. You can have them for a beer each.  :misbehaving:

I've had my '70 'Cuda five years now and it's still not fully painted, shell and rear quarters only; so I feel some of your pain.  (I'm at the mercy of my best friend who is my paint and body man and extremely busy)  At least I can start assembly now as soon as I heal from major back surgery.  Mine is also black with a Shaker hood.  I was going to go with the hockey strip delete (like my original Triple Black '70 Cuda) and the Argent Shaker bubble.  But after over-dosing on Mecum and Barrett Jackson auctions this past month, I really came to love the Black '67 Vettes with the red Stinger hood and black '70 Chevelles with cowl induction and red stripes.  Even though my car is matching nos. I'm really considering going with a red Shaker and red hockey strips.  I think the red shaker and hockey stripes would make it really stand out and is easily changed if need be.  Since the previous owner had already re-done the seats and dash and they were black originally, I'll stick with the black interior.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda.  Matching numbers 440 U Code, 4 speed pistol grip, Rallye dash, AM 8 Track, Shaker hood, 15 inch rallye wheels, Dana 60 4.10, Super Track Pak.  One of 134 - 440 "U" coupes codes built in 1970 and one of 100 - 440 Super Track Paks built in 1970.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.
