1973 Cuda intro from Vasteras, Sweden
« on: January 17, 2015 - 04:26:35 AM »
Hi Guys,

I just found this awesome forum! Very happy! It seems like this is a genuine enthusiast web site, with tons of E Body information. I have already spent waaaay to much time lurking around so I thought it is time for an intro before my first post.... :)

So I live in Vasteras, Sweden, but share my time between home there and our vacation home in Pompano Beach, FL. I have too much spare time when in FL, which makes me buy too much stuff and ship home. I am generally a Porsche guy, love to work with my older aircooled 911:s. Last few years I have found myself looking more and more at american cars.

As everyone else I began looking at mid 60:ies Mustang Convertibles, then moved to late 60:ies Camaros, and then Firebird convertibles. But all the time I have kept the E Body Cuda as my favourite coupé!

In my last container I had a basket case 1973 Cuda! I had space left in the container and found this "beauty" at craigslist. It was sooo cheap, but still not much of a car either. It is incomplete and rusty....

So I guess my first questions will be about what to build from it!

Regards,

Johan

Welcome from north of Uppsala! I lived in L.A for 10 years shipped a lot of cars and bikes at the time, now I just go to US to work every know and then. Must be great to escape from the snow whenever you want. I suggest putting a new Hemi in it and make it handle like a Porsche!
I want a Cuda for my next project, my first e-body was a -70 Cuda.

Very nice to meet you and welcome to the forum!  Nice project . . . Typically the opinion around here is "make what you want!"  Then there are a few that would say "make it the way it came from the factory."  I usually go with the first one . . . . Enjoy!
