Dont know, but from reading this, 1000 ppm would seem to be a minimum amount in the oil.

For every oil change: Shell Rotella T also with 1/2 bottle (6 onz) of Comp Cam Break In Additive. This was recommended, and used, by my engine rebuilder.

I have never liked using additives as one does not know how well they will react with the additive package in the oil or how long they will last-probably not a major concern, but?  :)

Normally, I use Valvoline VR1 if the springs are not too stiff.  For stiffer springs, this oil has .16 levels of zddp  https://classiccarmotoroil.com/products.php

The price is right when bought by the case.

I think Spectro is another specialty oil that can be bought with similar levels and it offers a blended oil as well.

Too bad that  no one will run a scientific test using good lifters and quality cam/stiff springs with modern oils to show how today's additives really perform.

I'm slowly working my way through the 3 cases (72 32 oz bottles) of GM EOS I bought before it was discontinued.... When I bought it before things went nuts it was less than $5 a bottle, after insanity struck they initially cut the bottle in half to 16 oz & raised the price to around $9 a bottle, then they cut the bottle in half again to 8 oz & raised the price to $23... I use half a bottle in every oil change & I figure I'll never run out...

EOS is $26 a pint from Jegs....lot higher than it used to be for sure. GM changed suppliers and brought it back out under a different part number.

I use Red Line engine oil break-in additive. It's good for break-in and normal oil changes and is compatable with all oils.
